Awards 6 Young Talents from across North East for their achievements in various fields

The company has been part of key infrastructure projects such as the Dhola-Sadiya Bridge, Bogibeel Bridge and many advancing landing airstrips for Indian Air Force and roads across border areas. As part of the anniversary celebrations, Dalmia Cement conducted its annual
‘Young Achievers Award,’ where six young talents from across the Northeast were honoured. The awards were presented
Shri Padmanav Chakravarty, Regional Manufacturing Head, North East and other key officials. The recipients were chosen based on their outstanding achievements in various fields such as sports, film, music, science, innovation business and enterprise.

The Young Achievers Award was instituted by Dalmia Cement in 2014 has been instrumental in appreciating and highlighting young performers from varied fields like sports, arts, culture, film making, journalism, ecology, environment amongst others. The award aims at promoting the youth of the region, recognizing and felicitating them and project them as role models for other youngsters. The YAA award is announced and given on this day during the brand anniversary celebration event annually. Over last 10 years, more than 90 young talents of North East has been awarded with Dalmia Young Achievers Award.
