Dalmia Bharat Celebrates Founders' Day with Community-Focused Initiatives

Sangli, December 11th, 2024: Dalmia Bharat Limited, one of India’s leading cement companies, marked its Founders' Day with a series of impactful, community-driven initiatives across its plant operations. The celebrations were a tribute to the company’s rich legacy and its ongoing commitment to social empowerment and sustainable development. At a special event held at the Dalmia Bharat Ninaidevi sugar plant, 227 sewing machines were distributed to women from the local community, promoting self-reliance and financial independence. In addition, 50 beneficiaries were provided with vermi bags to support organic farming practices, encouraging eco-friendly agricultural methods and improving soil fertility and productivity. To further support livestock farmers, 25 silage bags were distributed. The event also recognized participants of the DIKSHa program, awarding certificates to those who successfully completed the skill development training.
