As part of the government’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, to celebrate 75 years of Indian independence, an event Bharat Bhagya Vidhata was organised at the premises of the majestic Red Fort. This 10-day event featured a spectacular thematic cultural fusion showcasing India’s kaleidoscopic diversity, art, customs, traditions, rich heritage, cuisine and more. One of the many highlights was a light projection mapping of India’s history on the exterior walls of the monument; an exhibition of the nation’s achievements through the years; a host of cultural programs featuring the grandeur of the country’s vibrant arts and craftsmanship, a culinary explosion of regional cuisines and traditionally-set song and dance performances that paid homage to the country’s unity in diversity.
