As India's top industrial producer of Portland Slag Cement (PSC), we possess one of the lowest CO2 footprints amongst all the commercially available cement options. We’ve further advanced our efforts to embed circularity in our processes by installing Chlorine Dust Bypass systems in our cement manufacturing plants to increase the use of alternative fuels. This is the cement industry's first-ever initiative to be implemented in India.

As an industry thought leader we will continue to spearhead the industry’s shift towards a circular economy by investing in low-carbon technologies that enhance resources and energy efficiency within the overall manufacturing process. We blend industrial waste materials to produce low carbon cement, also known as blended cement, and about 87% of our product mix consists of low carbon cement. Our dedication towards furthering the Circular Economy is demonstrated by the fact that 41% of the raw materials utilised in the production of our cement come from waste sources.

We are increasing alternative (green) fuels, such as bio-mass, and municipal and industrial wastes, to eliminate fossil fuels by 2035.
